Condition: Excellent vintage condition. 

History: Fritz Thomas founded 'Porzellanfabrik Thomas & Ens' in Marktredwitz, Germany in 1904. In 1908 Rosenthal become the major shareholder. Up to the 1980's the Thomas product range was predominantly influenced by Scandinavian design but during the 1990's adopted new design influences from London. 

European Retro Period of the 1970's produced such wonderful patterns and "Thomas" of Germany was the leader. Its designs and patterns were bright and cheerful. This collection of "Thomas" in a retro floral pattern can be considered extremely progressive and modern nowadays. The pattern present in this pieces is discontinued what increases the value of the object.
